Random Musings

Is anyone else concerned about the situation in Columbia and Ecuador? I know I am; I don't like the idea of there being a potential war right in our back yard. It makes me nervous. Odds are our outstanding president will get involved somehow, because how can he not? A chance to bomb a country? Yee-Haw! Sarcasm aside the only thing about the situation that concerns me more is the fact that Venezuela's 'President' Hugo Chavez might have paid off Farc Rebels to secure the release of hostages. 300 Million Dollars to terrorists. I hope thats not true because there are further rumors that they are trying to acquire a dirty bomb. Thats a scary thought.
So this Democratic Nomination is going to take until August? Fuck. I really hoped it was going to be over on Super Tuesday II. I'm not surprised Clinton took Ohio, +9 poll margins 2 days before the election is a lot. I am surprised that she won Texas though. I fell into the trap everyone else does: never underestimate a Clinton. Oh, well.
I sincerely hope that Drew Lavender's ankle gets better. Miller is putting him back up to full time practices in hopes of loosening it enough for him to be maneuverable. Heres to hoping at least. St. Joe's has been gunning for us because we're their only hope to get into the tournament short of an outright victory in the A-10 Tourney.
The Sims 2 is a fantastic game.
Blizzard sucks.
Girl Scout Cookies are amazing.
Warsteiner Dunkel, Hofbrauhaus Dunkel, and the Sam Adams Dopplebock are amazing beers.
The Safari Public Beta for Windows has improved a lot over the course of 4 months. I'm gladly using a stable product now. I wish the Facebook Toolbar and the Stumble Toolbar worked for it though. Of course its probably impossible to add toolbars to Safari because Apple locks their shit down too much.
